Over the last 12 years, I have built a career in social media and marketing in entertainment. From PBS to Netflix, I love the possibilities of great storytelling. It can educate, create empathy, incite change, give you the laugh you desperately need and in the best scenarios, creates community. But in the age of content and social media, storytelling is everywhere, no longer relegated to the realm of entertainment. It’s exciting to see how consumer brands, podcasts and even public figures are approaching marketing and social media with storytelling in mind. So, what makes you stick out in a world FULL of content? It’s all in the risks. It’s about posting a meme that can be polarizing, making content that features folks that rarely are seen on camera or fearlessly responding to a fan on Instagram. These are the things that excite me every single day.

My professional strengths include targeted content strategy, using data to tell a story and project management. I’m creative by nature but I live for decks and my love language is list making. I thrive in collaborative environments where risks are celebrated, and I am at my best when I work on projects that I can be passionate about. Speaking of passions, mine include:

  • Great storytelling (this includes my first love: TV, but also film, podcasts, books)

  • Beauty & Wellness (love talking about it, applying it and wearing it)

  • Diversity & Inclusion (especially when the aim is empowerment)

  • Visual art (fun fact: I was an Art History minor in college)

  • Fashion (but only the kind that is accessible to all)

In my free time, I work on my green thumb, cook recipes on Instagram, read literary fiction, write personal essays, hike in beautiful LA and watch way too much TV.
